Terms of Service
Last updated: November 1, 2026
These terms cover the Pilot Light website (https://pilotlightemail.com) and the Pilot Light email service. Pilot Light is a service of P CHAK CONSULTING LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("Pilot Light," "we," "us"). By using the website or the service, you agree to these terms.
1. What Pilot Light does
Pilot Light writes short monthly emails for heating and air shops. The emails go to the shop's past customers, under the shop's name and signed by the owner. Our name does not appear to your customers. Nothing is sent until the owner approves it.
2. Who can use it
The service is for businesses. You must be at least 18 and have the authority to sign up for the business you name.
3. Your first email is free
Your first email is free. No card is needed. If you don't want to continue, you owe nothing.
4. Plans and prices
- Ticket A, Monthly email: $149 a month
- Ticket B, Email + tune-up push: $299 a month
- Ticket C, The full crew: $499 a month
- Founding price: $99 a month for the first 5 shops, for Ticket B, locked for 6 months, then $299 a month. In return, we may share your results, with your OK on every word.
What each plan includes is listed on our pricing page. Fees are billed monthly, in advance, by card through Stripe. Fees do not include the cost of your email sending account, if it has one. We will tell you any cost up front. We may change prices for future months with at least 30 days' notice by email. A locked founding price will not change during its 6 months.
5. No contract, cancel any time
The service is month to month. Cancel by replying "cancel" to any email from us. Cancellation stops your next charge. Months already paid are not refunded. You can switch plans any month.
6. Approval
We send you a draft of every email. It only goes out after you reply OK. You are responsible for checking that prices, offers and other details are correct before you approve.
7. Your customer list and the law
You agree to:
- Only give us email addresses of your own customers, or people who asked you for a quote or service, that you have the right to email.
- Never give us bought, rented or scraped lists.
- Honor the offers in emails you approve.
Every email includes your physical address and a working unsubscribe link, as the CAN-SPAM Act requires. Unsubscribes are honored promptly. We may refuse to send any email, or to any list, that we believe would break the law.
8. Who owns what
You own your customer list and the emails we write for you once paid for. We never sell your list or use it for anything except sending your emails. We keep our own general methods and templates. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.
9. Your content
When you send us logos, photos, prices or other material, you confirm you have the right to use it, and you let us use it only to make and send your emails.
10. Results
We can't promise any number of opens, calls, bookings or sales.
11. Website use
Don't misuse the website, try to break it, or use it to send us anything unlawful. The website is provided "as is."
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages, or for problems caused by email platforms, payment processors, hosting providers or other services outside our control.
13. Ending service
You can stop any time (see Section 5). We may stop providing the service to you with notice by email, for example if a payment fails or a request would break the law or these terms.
14. Georgia law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top. If a change matters for current clients, we will email you.
